Discussion includes her childhood move to California; living in California during the Depression; the start of their music career; their performance style; the growth of their popularity after World War II; experiences as traveling performers during the late 1940s and 1950s; working with Elvis Presley and Marty Robbins; working on the Louisiana Hayride, Grand Ole Opry, and Hometown Jamboree; working with different record labels, including Four Star and Columbia; and memories of her work as a solo performer, including the duets with Buck Owens.
